Accelerated Care Plus (ACP) modality equipment, such as electrotherapy, ultrasound and shortwave diathermy units, is common in skilled nursing facility therapy gyms. ACP equipment is often placed under an ACP program agreement that includes service, so start there. For equipment you own outright, units outside an agreement, or annual electrical safety testing, we can match your facility with a qualified biomedical technician.
Match with a qualified biomedical technician within 24 hours.
A technician matched through our network will typically inspect the unit, confirm the fault, and quote the repair before starting work. Depending on the equipment, a visit can include output or calibration verification (stim output and ultrasound output), replacement of worn parts such as lead wires, cables, pads, cords and casters, a functional check of every mode, and an electrical safety test. You get a written service record for each unit with the serial number, work performed, results and sign-off, which is what surveyors, accreditors and insurers ask to see. See a sample service report.
Commercial Accelerated Care Plus equipment is generally built to be serviced, and many failures are parts-level repairs. Replacement starts to make sense when parts are no longer available, the unit has several failures at once, or repeated repairs cost more than half the price of a newer model. Your technician can give you a repair estimate first so you can decide.

Accelerated Care Plus is a trademark of its owner. Medical Equipment Repair Network is an independent service network and is not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by Accelerated Care Plus. Equipment under an active manufacturer warranty or service agreement should normally be serviced through that agreement.
