    How to Read Your Results

Electrical citations are deficiencies cited under the six Life Safety Code K-tags that cover electrical systems and equipment: K911, K912, K914, K919, K920 and K921. We show citations from surveys since September 2023.

The survey window is our estimate based on the last standard survey date CMS has on record. Standard surveys must happen no later than 15 months after the previous one, and states must average 12 months, so most facilities are surveyed 9 to 15 months after the last one. If your window is open, assume the surveyors could walk in tomorrow.

No citations? Good news, but it only reflects what surveyors found on past visits. Each survey is a fresh look, and equipment added since then may not be tested yet.

It's an estimate. Federal law requires standard surveys no later than 15 months after the previous one, with a statewide average of 12 months, so we show 9 to 15 months after the last standard survey on record. Complaint surveys can happen at any time.
Fix and document the specific items cited, then make sure your PCREE testing is complete and documented at the device level before your next survey. A qualified technician can test everything in one visit and give you survey-ready records.
